After more than 30 beautiful years – with all ups and downs, with a strong Yen as well as a weak Yen, from the Lehman shock to the Corona epidemic and resulting systemic changes in equipment as well as in production and sales in Japan we are grateful for the many clients and many friends we met in the profession we choose long time ago and still love. Nevertheless the time to slow down has come as most of us are in their 60s now and there is indeed more to life than just work even if it is in the desired field. So, from 2026 onwards in case of emergencies you may still ask for a hint of whom to contact for specific productions however we are no more available for further intensive consultation. We ask for your understanding.
Documentaries / films for television / commercials
From 2026 onwards we may still accept sporadic multilingual coordination work ; depending on the length and complexity of the intended project.
HD / 4K Live:
During the last year we have sold all our camera chains, no more Sony HDCs, no more Panasonic HD chains and also no more Ikegami SHK-810 chains. Together with our suppliers we still do worldwide sales of equipment but no more rentals domestically and and we do no more serve as a guarantor for 3rd party rentals. If asked for we may still recommend HD and 4K OB Vans for productions but only with their own japanese staff heavily involved.
